How to Prepare for Board Exams in Last 30 Days

A practical 30-day strategy to help you revise better and stress less.

With thirty days left before boards, the goal shifts from learning new material to consolidating what you already know. A focused, realistic plan beats trying to relearn every chapter from scratch.

Start by listing every subject and chapter, then mark each one as strong, average or weak based on your last test scores. Give weak chapters more time in the first two weeks, and keep strong chapters to quick daily revision so they don't slip.

Practice with previous years' question papers under timed conditions at least twice a week. This does more for your final score than reading the textbook one more time, and it builds the exam-hall stamina you'll need on the day.

In the final week, switch entirely to revision: formula sheets, diagrams, short notes and previously marked mistakes. Avoid opening a brand-new topic this late — it adds stress without adding meaningful marks.

Sleep, food and short breaks matter more during this month than any other. A tired brain retains far less, so protect at least seven hours of sleep even when the temptation to stay up late revising is strong.
